Time for a Scavenger Hunt

Now that we have studied 6 Simple Machines, do you realize that we're surrounded by machines? Here at school and at home there are examples of every type of simple machine.

Today, we are going to take a scavenger hunt around the school to locate at least 1 example for each of the 6 simple machines. When you locate an example of a simple machine, write down what it is and where you found it in the school building. After our scavenger hunt is over, we will come back to the classroom and you will meet in your groups to discuss your findings and complete your Scavenger Hunt Worksheet.

After meeting with and discussing your findings with your group, you will then take your worksheet home and find 1 example for each of the simple machines and do the same that you in did today, at school.
